On Track Recruitment is seeking experienced Workshop Boilermakers/Fabricators for ongoing FIFO work in Port Hedland. This role is focused on heavy mining and fixed plant fabrication and maintenance within a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate new mining equipment and structural steel.
- Repair and rebuild heavy mining components, including chutes, hoppers, bins, conveyors and crusher parts.
- Perform heavy fabrication and MIG/FCAW welding on carbon steel.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.
- Cut, fit, grind, gouge and assemble heavy steel plate and sections.
- Carry out modifications and repairs to fixed plant equipment.
- Operate overhead cranes and workshop machinery safely.
- Complete QA/QC inspections while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
About You
- Trade Qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a heavy fabrication or mining workshop.
- Strong MIG/FCAW welding experience.
- Ability to fabricate from engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
- Experience working on fixed plant equipment highly regarded.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Current WA Manual Driver's Licence.
- White Card.
- National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
- Forklift Ticket and/or High Risk Work Licence highly regarded.
