About the Role
On Track Recruitment Solutions are seeking 3 Road Crew Maintenance Workers to join a road maintenance team based in Newman, WA.

Commencing 10 August 2026, you'll work as part of a dedicated maintenance crew carrying out road construction, maintenance and repair works while ensuring a strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in civil construction, road maintenance or infrastructure projects looking for an ongoing contract with a respected government organisation.

What's on Offer
  • Pay Rate: $45-55 per hour super 
  • Start Date: 10 August 2026
  • Ongoing contract through to 18 December 2026
  • Approximately 50 hours per week (40 ordinary hours 10 hours commuted overtime)

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out road construction, reconstruction and maintenance works
  • Perform culvert, drainage and roadside maintenance
  • Install and replace road signs, guideposts and safety barriers
  • Operate minor plant and equipment
  • Complete vegetation maintenance including pruning, bush cutting and herbicide application
  • Assist with traffic management in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans
  • Maintain a safe, clean and compliant worksite
  • Complete work to required quality standards and supervisor instructions
  • Record road defects and maintenance activities using digital devices

About You
  • Previous experience in road maintenance, civil construction or infrastructure maintenance
  • Current White Card
  • Current C Class Driver's Licence (HR Licence highly regarded)
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work safely as part of a team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work
  • Traffic Management tickets (BWTM & Traffic Control) highly regarded

Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to complete:
  • Category B Pre-Employment Medical
  • Drug & Alcohol Screen
  • Functional Assessment
  • Baseline Hearing Test
  • National Police Clearance
