Position 1: Training Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Development: Design and implement training programs, conduct needs analyses, and collaborate with stakeholders on instructional design.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate training programs, recommend updates, and ensure quality training frameworks.
- Stakeholder Management: Support managers and supervisors in identifying and fulfilling training needs.
- Administration: Maintain accurate training records, manage compliance, and produce reports.
- Safety: Promote and adhere to health and safety practices.
- Additional Duties: Perform ad-hoc tasks and participate in project work as required.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in a training role, preferably in rail/transportation or infrastructure sectors.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in training or a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Skills: Strong communication, report writing, and computer literacy.
- Compliance: Familiar with safety protocols and holds relevant permits.
Position 2: HSEQ Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
- Workplace Health & Safety (WHS): Offer practical WHS advice, develop procedures, and promote a positive safety culture. Conduct risk assessments, incident reviews, and training.
- Rail Safety: Provide rail safety advice, assist in developing systems to manage safety risks, and participate in investigations.
- Environmental Management: Support sustainability efforts, address environmental risks, and deliver relevant training.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct internal and supplier audits, support corrective actions, and assist with maintaining ISO accreditation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with contractors, managers, and staff to ensure HSEQ compliance.
- Administration: Maintain records, prepare reports, and support injury management and medical assessments.
Role Requirements:
- Experience: HSEQ experience, preferably in rail/transportation.
- Qualifications: Certificate IV in WHS (mandatory); Internal Auditing certification (desirable).
- Skills: Strong communication, proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with HSEQ databases, and a valid driver’s license.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and planning skills.
- Commitment to safety, integrity, and collaboration.
- Ability to influence and maintain high safety standards across the organization.
